Welcome to IWCSE11
Welcome to the XIth International Workshop on Cestode Systematics and Phylogeny (IWCSP11)
I am pleased to invite you to the 11th International Workshop on Cestode Systematics and Phylogeny in Reykjavík, Iceland, from June 1–6, 2026. This will be the first time this workshop is hosted in Iceland.
Since the last workshop in 2023, hosted by the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw, Poland, there have been many exciting developments in the field of cestode taxonomy and evolution that have offered some new insights as well as highlighting some knowledge gaps and areas requiring collaborative focus. IWCSP11 offers an excellent platform for researchers at all career stages to engage in efforts for global prioritising of key areas of research, and to present their work, gain insights, and network.
The conference venue, Askja, the house of Life and Environmental Sciences, University of Iceland, is in walking distance from Reykjavík‘s city center. Reykjavík is charming little city with a rich history and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
See the program for more information, including proposed Workshops, note the dates for abstract submission and registration.
I look forward to welcoming you to IWCSP11 in Reykjavík!
